Boba Fett Movie Lands Logan Director James Mangold

<img src="https://" /><p><em>Logan</em> co-writer and director James Mangold is heading to a galaxy far, far away, where he will write and direct a <strong><em>Boba Fett</em></strong> solo movie. An anthology film centered around the infamous Mandalorian armor-clad bounty hunter has been rumored for years and was in development under the direction of filmmaker Josh Trank at one point (who even put a sizzle reel for the project). That was before Trank departed in the wake of the <em>Fantastic Four</em> reboot fiasco, and the Fett movie was put on the back-burner by Lucafilm.</p><p>The studio's second <em>Star Wars</em> anthology film, <em>Solo: A Star Wars Story</em>, begins playing in theaters tonight (at the time of writing), but Lucafilm has yet to announce what the third spinoff movie in the franchise will be.
