We’re going to cut right to the chase on this one — Dubfire has set a new record for the longest solo performance ever to go down at Sunwaves Festival in Romania.
The legendary techno DJ went for 26 hours and 30 minutes before throwing in the towel. It’s impressive enough to play for any extended period of time, let alone a performance that allows you to see both a sunrise and a sunset in one epic run.
Marco Carola held the previous Sunwaves record after playing for 24 hours straight. tINI and Bill Patrick went back-to-back in 2016 and their set ran a total of 31 hours.
Compare that to the Guinness World Record for longest DJ set, currently held by DJ Colossus after playing for 10 straight days.
Who will step up to the challenge next year?
